What does the “Try It Out” button do?

This guide explains how the "Try It Out" feature works in Cytd and what you can expect when using it.

What is “Try It Out”?

The “Try It Out” button lets you run a tracked question directly in real time.

It uses the exact same prompt Cytd is already monitoring across AI engines.

What happens when you click it?

When you click “Try It Out,” Cytd sends that specific question to the AI engines and retrieves live responses.

This allows you to see:

  • Differences between engines for the same question
  • What the AI engines are currently returning for that prompt
  • How your domain is being cited in real time

Why is this useful?

“Try It Out” gives you direct visibility into AI behavior without relying only on aggregated data.

  • Understand why a citation may have increased or decreased
  • Validate how a question is being interpreted

Compare live responses across engines

How is this different from the dashboard data?

Dashboard metrics show aggregated results over time.

“Try It Out” shows a real-time snapshot of a single question at the moment you run it.

In simple terms

The “Try It Out” button lets you instantly rerun a tracked question and see live AI responses across engines.
